Hello, hope you are looking forward to the Summer and you are ready to work hard over these next few weeks to get ready for Youth/Junior league.

Training continues from today, the 10th of June, until the 22nd of July when we will take a short break until the 19th of August when we will restart in preparation for Youth and Junior League.

Over the half term Sue, some mums and myself had a meeting with the Heritage League committee to discuss what we would like to do relating to the development of the girls and the club. As you may have heard, we will be merging with Sue's Ivel Saints Academy high 5 teams to form a larger club. This will included High 5 squad/s, year 7/8 squad/s and U16 youth squad/s. If your child would like to be part of the junior or youth teams, please fill out the form below.

The junior league games will be on Sundays will start around February 2012. The youth league start a lot sooner in September 2011 and will play on Wednesdays at 6.00pm or 6.45pm, however no official dates have been set. As soon as we hear any further information, we will forward it on to you as soon as able.

To cover the affiliation costs for the teams we would like to ask you for a payment of £25 for the junior league and £35 for the youth league. The youth league is more due to the fact that the girls will have more games and play for a longer period of time. We ask you to contribute £3 weekly to cover the cost of hiring the facilities and £2 at games to cover umpire costs (this may change).

The logo above, which you may have noticed, will be our link with our team and the Heritage League. The logo colour will form part of the colours on our kit; we will send a further letter to you about the kit that we will be ordering. We are looking at getting kit that the club will own but the children will use throughout the season – there will be a returnable fee for use of the kit, this is to cover the cost of any damage, if you return the kit in the same condition, we will return the fee. They will be able to purchase hoodies in team colours with the logo on for themselves; this will be at your expense of around £15-20 with printing. The kit will comprise of a skort (a skirt with shorts sewn in) and a vest style top with Velcro patches for use with patch bibs. The colours will be black with a turquoise/blue piping, this will be the same on the hoodies. The high 5's will be turquoise polo shirt, with black skirts. If you would like to purchase a hoody, please can you mark as appropriate on the form below so we know how many to order.

If you have friends, who you think would be interested in joining any of the Heritage Academies teams please feel free to bring them along to one of the sessions. The training sessions take place on, Wednesday's years 5/6, at Biggleswade Recreation Centre, 4.00pm – 5.00pm (this may be subject to change), and Friday's years 7/8 and above, at Sandy Sports Centre, 5.30pm – 7.00pm.
