WINTER LEAGUE
It is now time for us to start thinking about the winter league. Please find attached the application form, team sheet & data protection form to be completed and returned by 22/08/10. Details of where to return it are on the form.
Please return them as soon as possible so we start on the fixtures & have them ready for the fixtures meeting on Monday 13th September.
If you know of any other teams that may be interested in joining the Heritage League please pass the details on.

Changes to Affiliations
Please click on attached link for the netball affiliation documents set by County.
Please read carefully - If you affiliated online last year England Netball should send you information direct. If you are a new team or filed by paper last year (?) then you need to contact England Netball BY THE 31 JULY to get your online user set up.
Manual affiliations are being phased out and we recommend you do it online.
You must be affiliated and your payment MUST HAVE CLEARED before you can play winter league otherwise you are not covered by insurance. Cheques may take up to 7 days!
Please ensure your teams FULL NAMES, ADDRESSES, DOB are correct and up to date

TEAM REPORTS....
We have at last relinquished Nicky of her ten jobs and Jess from Baldock Crusaders kindly offered to take Press Secretary off her hands. Therefore we are trying to encourage match reports each week. If you would like to report your home matches to Jess (her details are on the website and in the handbook) please email her all the details and she will do her best to get it published.
Also we are hoping now we have Jess on board that we will be able to publish the league tables each week in both the Biggleswade Chronicle and The Comet so watch this space……
ORANGES....
It has come to our attention that only a few teams are supplying oranges at their home games, so it was decided at our Committee meeting that we should supply oranges for our own team for home and away games. We thought this was fairer on all involved.
UMPIRES....
PLEASE remember to contact your umpire at least 24 hrs prior to your game to confirm all details for the game, this is very important as you cannot play the game without them.
A gentle reminder girls that it is NOT acceptable to contact an umpire outside of the hours of 9am and 9pm.
